Cheney School is a popular, high-performing school located in the heart of Oxford serving a diverse community of students who are eager to learn. The success of the school as an Academy has led to Cheney School expanding into a Multi Academy Trust.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated IT professional to join our IT department which is committed to providing the best possible support for our staff and students at the school.

This is a great opportunity for an individual who:

  • Has a passionate for IT.
  • Has excellent troubleshooting skills and enjoys problem solving.
  • Enjoys providing people with guidance on IT matters.
  • Has a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Has an aptitude for fixing hardware, software and investigating IT problems.
  • Has good interpersonal skills and enjoys working as part of a team.

The post is for 37 hours per week, with a start time of 7.30am. It attracts a Grade 5 (Points 14 to 17) with a salary of £16,781 – £17,772 (depending on experience), with the option of working term-time only (with a pro rata salary of: £13,938.31 - £14,761.43).

The position comes with 24 days’ annual leave (if full-time), in addition to Bank Holidays, and membership of a comprehensive Healthcare Benefits Plan.
