Lest We Forget: World War One Collection Day, 10 November

World War One Collection Day at the Rumble Museum
Friday 10 November  2017,  2.00 - 5.00 pm

We are looking for people to bring any objects (photographs, diaries, letters, medals, souvenirs, etc) that people have kept from World War One, or stories that have been passed down, to our Digital Collection Day. We will then record your story, or photograph the object ,and get details from you on their background and upload this to a major website to be launched next year. The website will be freely available to anyone to use and will help preserve these key objects and documents from the War.

Please come along to the Rumble Museum at Cheney School with your objects between 2 and 5pm on Friday 10th November, 2017.

There is no booking needed, but it would be helpful to have an idea in advance of what you might be bringing and when you might be coming - please email info@irisproject.org.uk to let us know.

We will have experts on hand to help to give you more information on the items. There will also be refreshments, artefact-handling and an opportunity to talk to members from the wider community.
