Cheney School

Information for Universities

Cheney decided to go fully linear in all reformed subjects from September 2015 to increase teaching time and release funding for our enrichment programme – a choice of Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, Classical Civilisation AS, or Core Maths. This programme is compulsory for all students taking three A Levels/the BTEC equivalents, but optional for the ablest students who take four A Levels.  Students applying in autumn 2016 have AS results in unreformed subjects.  In reformed subjects, their predictors are based on robust, high-stakes ‘UCAS Predictor Exams’ sat in June, and on teacher professional judgement.
