Cheney decided to go fully linear in all reformed subjects from September 2015 to increase teaching time and release funding for our enrichment programme including options in Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, the Extended Project Qualification and Core Maths. This programme is compulsory for all students taking three A Levels/the BTEC equivalents, but optional for the ablest students who take four A Levels.  Students applying in Autumn 2017 have AS results in the remaining unreformed subjects.  In reformed subjects, their predictors are based on robust, high-stakes ‘UCAS Predictor Exams’ sat in June, and on teacher professional judgement.
