Urgent Fundraising Appeal

Like all schools, we are facing significant funding cuts and increased overheads,  which is why we launched our annual fundraising appeal in March 2020.

Now, more than ever, we need help.  We need to raise approximately £40,000 to provide the necessary classroom equipment for live-streaming/remote learning and to guarantee access to a lap-top for ALL our students.

Lack of individual access to lap-tops is one of our major barriers. This applies to submitting normal homework, as well as to preparing for future lockdowns or partial closures.

Of course, many of our students already have access to a lap-top, and we are enabling families to buy a basic Chromebook through school, at cost. However, to ensure that all of our students have the full access they need, we aim to purchase a device for all of our students who receive Free School Meals (currently just over 300).

We are therefore reaching out to our local and parent community, and businesses and organisations, to ask for their help to plug the gap and invest in the future of our school and young people - anyone can support us and it is no lie to say that every penny really does help. 

How Can you Help?

All parents can now give a one off amount of up to £500  through Parent Pay - simply look out for the item called 'annual fundraising appeal' and donate your chosen amount.

Set up a Monthly Direct Debit

If you feel you could could support the school by giving us a monthly donation, you can do so by setting up a Direct Debit. This money will go into a central (but ring fenced) pot and in the medium term will be used for student lap-tops and the necessary classroom equipment to support remote learning.

Once we have reached our fundraising goal, the pot will be used for enhancing student experience: supporting students to go on trips, environmental improvement projects, purchase of additional resources, inviting guest speakers/performers to name a few.
