GCSE Results 2022

Cheney School GCSE and BTEC results 2022

After two years of uncertainty and disruption, we are incredibly proud of our students’ GCSE results this year. They have shown great resilience to come through such an unsettled time with calmness and common sense.

In absolute terms, the results are very good (28% are grade 7 or above and 75% are grade 4 or above) with some excellent individual performances, but the most important thing is that our students will now be able to move on to the next step of their choice, with the results they deserve.

Some individuals of particular note are:

  • Rachel Goodrich-Jones has straight grade 9s: 9 this year to add to 2 further grade 9s she scored in Year 10.
  • Elizabeth Stacey has achieved a total of 10 grade 9s and 1 grade 8.
  • Ahmed Ahmed has a total of 9 grade 9s and 1 grade 8.
  • Lola Pesskin has 9 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s.
  • Freya Blundel has a total of 9 grade 9s and 1 grade 7.
  • Lucy Goodrich-Jones 8 grade 9s, a grade 8 and grade 7.
