Pied Wagtail

A delightful small, long-tailed and lively black and white bird. These are easy to spot in winter when groups or pairs can be seen standing or hopping about on the playground or on rooftops, wagging their tails up and down. Wagtails have an undulating flight and frequently call when they fly. They often gather at dusk to form large roosts.
