What is Counselling?

Counselling is a free and confidential service for all Cheney students. It is there to provide support to students coping with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, low mood, bereavement, friendship difficulties, family problems or just a sense of things not being right.

How do I access it?

Counselling takes place in W66 (on the ground floor of W block, near reception) and W12 (near the attendance office) during school hours. If you would like to meet with a school counsellor, you can stop by W66 at break, lunch or before school to talk to us in person. You can also speak to your year team for a referral, or email us at counselling@cheney.oxon.sch.uk

Alternatively you can ask your parents, a friend or member of staff to contact the counsellors on your behalf.
