Our Annual Fundraising Appeal
I am inspired every day by seeing what our school community achieves - we are in the top 500 schools in the whole country for our results, have national champion sports teams/people and are the only school in the country to also house a Museum. We live in a vibrant city where we are fortunate to be able to recruit the best staff and build strong relationships with world renowned establishments like Oxford University, Oxford Brookes University, BMW and Nielson to name a few. We are also incredibly lucky that our students and staff are supported by an enthusiastic and committed parent and local community.
I don’t think it’s any secret that, despite the incredible community in which we thrive, we are facing significant funding cuts and increased overheads. On the back of our financial strains, this year, for the first time ever, we will be launching an annual fundraising appeal to reach out to our local and parent community and businesses/organisations to ask for their help to plug the gap and invest in the future of our school and young people - anyone can support us and it is no lie to say that every penny really does help.
Our ambition is to 'improve every learner's life chances', and for that, we need your help.
How Can you Help?
We want to make things simple.
All parents can now give a one off amount through Parent Pay - simply look out for the item called 'annual fundraising appeal' and donate your chosen amount.
Donate Money Towards new Projectors in Chadwick - The English Department
Our English Department consistently have some of the strongest results in the school, but their building and equipment is getting old. We need to fundraise £5,000 for the purchase and installation of new projectors for each classroom in our Chadwick Building. Is this something you would like to help us achieve?
Donate Money Towards a Sixth Form Overhaul
Joining Sixth Form is a momentous time for our young people - they get access to Oxford Brookes library, have more independent study time and don't have to wear a uniform. And most importantly, a part of the school just for them. The Sixth Form area is need of some TLC - at the cost of £16,000. Students will lead this project, with the support of staff. We really want them to make a space that supports their study and time with us in the Sixth Form. This could include new furniture, a lick of paint, building repair, and some new Chromebooks and desktops to support study
